Brought in my grandfather's Seiko automatic — it hadn't run properly in years. Pim looked at it, explained what was needed, and gave me a written estimate before touching it. Three weeks later it came back running well and looking exactly as it should. The dial hasn't been touched, which is what I asked for. Very satisfied.

Battery swap for a dress watch I wear to work. Simple enough job but I've had watches returned before with scratches from careless case-opening. None of that here. Quick, tidy, and they checked the water resistance before returning it. A few days as promised. Would come back for the full service when it's needed.

I had a 1968 Longines movement restored here. The work was unhurried and thorough — Pim photographed the movement before, during, and after, which meant I could see exactly what state it was in and what was done. The watch came back running within two seconds a day. I wasn't expecting that level of accuracy from a fifty-year-old calibre.

Took my daily automatic in for a complete service. I'd been putting it off because I wasn't sure what to expect price-wise. The initial assessment was free, the written estimate matched exactly what I was charged at the end. That kind of consistency matters. The timing is noticeably improved — it was losing about four minutes a day; now it's within ten seconds.

My husband's vintage Omega had been sitting in a drawer for years. I brought it in not knowing whether it was worth repairing. The assessment was free, which removed any pressure. They told me honestly that it was worth restoring — explained why — and the photos they sent during the process were a lovely touch. He was very moved to see it running again.

I was only in Bangkok briefly and needed a battery replaced in a watch I rely on. Walked in without an appointment — no problem. The battery was replaced the same day, the case was handled carefully, and the price was exactly as quoted. For a simple service, it was done exactly right. I'd send a more valuable watch here without hesitation.

A Few Longer Stories
The Challenge
1972 Swiss lever movement, running erratically
The watch — inherited from a client's father — had been serviced elsewhere two years prior but was already losing around eight minutes a day and occasionally stopping entirely. The client was concerned the movement had been mishandled.
The Work
Full overhaul with photographic documentation
On inspection, the previous service had used an incorrect lubricant weight on the pallet fork, and the balance staff had not been cleaned properly. The full vintage restoration was carried out over six weeks, with photographs sent at disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly stages.
The Outcome
Running within 4 seconds per day
The watch was regulated to within four seconds a day across face-up and crown-down positions. The case and original matte dial were not touched. The client described it as "running better than it ever did." Timeline: six weeks.
The Challenge
Daily-use ETA movement, power reserve dropping
A client's automatic, worn every day for seven years, had gone from a 38-hour power reserve to barely twelve. The watch wasn't stopping but would lose significant time overnight and needed winding more frequently than before.
The Work
Complete service with mainspring replacement
The movement was fully cleaned and re-oiled. Inspection found the mainspring had fatigued — a normal result of continuous use over that timeframe. The mainspring was replaced, seals renewed, and the movement regulated across four positions. Total time: three weeks.
The Outcome
Full power reserve restored, timing accurate
Power reserve returned to 40 hours. Timing settled at +6 seconds per day on average. The client was pleased that the cost matched the estimate exactly and that no unnecessary work had been added. "They only did what they said they'd do."
