Our Approach to Every Job
Every watch that comes through the door follows the same sequence: written assessment first, work only after agreement, return only when the result meets our own standard. The service type determines what happens between assessment and return — the process around that doesn't vary.
For mechanical and vintage work, this process is documented with photographs at significant stages. The movement before disassembly, the parts cleaned, the timing result. These form a record you keep alongside the watch.

Battery & Seal Service
For quartz watches needing a new battery and a seal review. We fit a fresh cell, clean the contacts, renew gaskets where required, and confirm the case closes properly. Where applicable, water resistance is checked after the work is done. A friendly, straightforward service for everyday watches.

Complete Service
A full service for mechanical watches losing accuracy or power. We clean and re-oil the movement, inspect the balance and mainspring, replace worn parts where needed, and regulate the timing across positions. Seals are renewed and the crown checked. Suited to daily-rotation watches that need returning to proper function.

Vintage Restoration
A patient restoration for vintage watches with character worth keeping. We overhaul the movement, conserve the case and dial to preserve their honest patina, and discuss each cosmetic choice with you before acting. Photographs accompany the work at each meaningful stage. For pieces with a story to protect.

Our Standards
Protocols Shared Across All Services
Secure Storage
Every watch is logged on arrival and held in a secured area. It leaves only for work at the bench during service hours.
Written Agreement
Nothing begins without written agreement from the owner on scope and price. No work happens by assumption.
Correct Lubricants
Oils and greases are sourced from established horological suppliers and applied at appropriate viscosity for each component.
Water Resistance Testing
Where seals are replaced, water resistance is tested with appropriate equipment before the watch is returned.
Timing Machine Verification
Mechanical movements are tested across positions on a timing machine. Results are available for the owner on request.
Owner Communication
Progress updates are sent without waiting to be asked. Any unexpected finding is discussed before any additional work is done.
