1. Definitions

• "Pim" / "we" / "us" — Pim Watch Repair & Restoration, operating at 203 Ratchaprarop Road, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400, Thailand.
• "You" / "User" — Any person who accesses this website or engages our services.
• "Service" — The watch repair, servicing, and restoration services offered by Pim, as described on this website.
• "Agreement" — These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
• "Content" — All text, images, design, and other material on this website.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting this website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the site or submitting a service enquiry.

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. By engaging with us, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Service Description

Pim provides watch repair and restoration services in Bangkok, Thailand, including battery and seal replacement, complete mechanical servicing, and vintage watch restoration. Services are carried out at our workshop unless otherwise arranged.

Availability of specific services may vary. We reserve the right to decline work on pieces that, in the professional assessment of our watchmakers, cannot be serviced to a satisfactory standard.

4. Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when submitting enquiries or dropping off a watch for service
• Disclose any known issues, prior repairs, or fragile components relevant to the work
• Collect your watch promptly after notification that work is complete (uncollected pieces held for 90 days)
• Use this website for lawful purposes only and refrain from attempting to interfere with its operation
• Respect the intellectual property rights in all content on this website

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photography, layout, and design — is owned by or licensed to Pim. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial reference only.

Reproducing, distributing, or adapting any website content without prior written permission is not permitted.

6. Payment Terms

Prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of labour. Parts replaced during a service are billed separately and will be communicated before work proceeds.

Payment is due upon collection of the watch. We accept cash and bank transfer. A deposit may be requested for Vintage Restoration work.

If you choose not to proceed after an initial assessment, a nominal assessment fee may apply. This will be communicated to you in advance.

7. Service-Specific Terms

Timelines

Estimated completion times (a few days for battery service, approximately three weeks for complete service, five to eight weeks for vintage restoration) are given in good faith and represent typical timeframes. They are not contractual deadlines. Unforeseen complications — such as rare parts requiring sourcing — may extend a timeline, and we will keep you informed.

Photographs and documentation

For Vintage Restoration work, photographs of the watch and movement are taken before, during, and after the restoration for documentation and quality purposes. These may be retained in our records.

Cosmetic decisions

For vintage pieces, we discuss all cosmetic choices with you before proceeding. We do not refinish or alter the patina of a dial or case without your explicit agreement.

8. Disclaimers

This website and the information it contains are provided in good faith. We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate, but we do not represent that every detail is always current or error-free.

Watch servicing involves working with complex mechanical or electronic components. While we apply considerable care and skill, we cannot foresee every outcome, particularly in watches with pre-existing damage or undisclosed prior repairs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, our total liability arising from any service or use of this website will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of use of a watch or any sentimental loss, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless Pim and its staff from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these terms, your provision of inaccurate information, or your unlawful use of this website.

11. Termination

Either party may end a service agreement by giving reasonable notice. If work is already underway, any costs incurred up to that point remain payable.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who behaves in an abusive or dishonest manner, or who provides false information about a watch submitted for work.

12. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. If a concern arises, we ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally and promptly. Most questions can be resolved with a direct conversation.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

13. General Provisions

• Entire agreement: These terms, together with our Privacy and Cookie Policies, represent the full agreement between us.
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder of these terms continues in full effect.
• Waiver: Choosing not to enforce a particular term on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment: You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent.

14. Changes to Terms

We may revise these terms as our services or legal obligations evolve. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continuing to use our services or website after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
